Shopping With Britannia
You can order products displayed on this website (1) by telephoning Britannia (2) by faxing or posting to us a completed copy of the Britannia order form or (3) on-line.
If you have placed your order on-line, we will shortly afterwards send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. The email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have a record of your order details. An email order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet the requirements of your order.
Our prices are shown on our website, and include VAT at 20%. Non-EU customers are responsible for Import Duty/Tax in their respective countries and VAT will be deducted from your order.
Unfortunately we cannot advise you what these costs will be – please consult your local customs office for more information.
We try to make sure that the prices on our website are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in pricing of the goods in your order we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. (If we are unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled). In the event of an order being cancelled, any payment made for the goods will be refunded in full.
All offers are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you any money which you have paid.
You will be notified of the delivery costs automatically before you submit your credit card details. In most cases, we use Interlink, an overnight courier service for delivery. Unless previously advised, a signature will be required upon receipt of the parcel(s).
You can pay on-line with any of the following credit/debit cards: Visa or MasterCard credit card or by Switch, Solo or Delta debit card. To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are sent to us over the Internet.
When paying online we charge your credit card immediately. Your account statement will show “Britannia” as the payee.
Orders placed by fax or phone and not paid for by credit or debit card will only be processed once payment has been received and cleared.
Subject to stock availability, we aim to deliver your order within twenty working days.
The delivery charges quoted in the shopping basket apply to orders for delivery within mainland UK. For overseas orders, no delivery charges will be taken with the order, but a quotation for delivery will be sent within 48 hours of receipt of order. If the customer does not accept the delivery charges the full price of the order will be refunded.
We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on our website but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If the goods are not delivered within the delivery time which we quote for that item please contact Britannia by telephone on t: 01285 720 737 or email email@example.com quoting your order reference number. We will try and ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible, or, if you wish you may cancel your order and we will refund you any money which you have paid.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. You may return your order within 14 days of receiving the goods and we will require you to pay the return postage of the goods. Once received the refund will be processed. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
You may cancel your order for any reason at any time up to and including 7 days from the date of delivery of your order provided you have taken reasonable care of the products. We will require you to pay for the return postage of the goods. Please contact Britannia on t: 01242 820582 and inform them of your wish to return the goods
You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us.
We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping online service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.
No data provided on the site by you is supplied to third parties in anyway.
We may change or withdraw any part of our website, or may refuse you access to the website at any time if we consider it necessary.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
